A while back I asked you guys to talk me out of buying this thing and you failed. So here it is.
To the guy that bought the 2016 a couple post down, IMO the 2015 looks better

Nice truck! I also think the ‘15 looks better.

Nice truck, but how are we letting manufacturers get away with plain ol halogen reflectors in what appears to be a 35-50k vehicle!?

If anyone actually thinks this looks better, they should probably have their eyes checked...

One thing I hate about it, but then I got the truck for less

The ‘14-’15 silvers are easily gm’s best-looking trucks since the mid-’90s, at least from the front. They still look archaic, and a hodgepodge of too many design ideas (usually the sign of a committee design, e.g. current impala, current Charger, Nissan NV200/chevy city express, etc.).
I’d have gotten the Ford or Dodge, or waited to drive the new Nissan Titan and then compare. I can’t resist Ford’s LED strips, spotlights, and interiors, though...

Dodge has the weird, knob-shifter now. I rented one for a week. Not looking at Dodge again until they change that.

I think that’s standard now for new Chrysler/Dodge vehicles. The 200, 300, Charger, and Ram have it, anyway. I like Jaguar's execution of the rotary gear selector better, though.

It’s a massive improvement from the pre-2013 gms, but they also had the farthest to go. Materials feel thin in high-wear areas, the controls seem to have too much omnidirectional give, and the ergonomics - the biggest deficit of the old trucks - isn’t quite there yet. We had a customer return their Sierra 1500 with 8k miles on it and the armrest and center console leather were already worn through.
At least the interior door handles aren’t below the armrest anymore at thigh-level. That was the single-most irritating thing about the past trucks.
There are some positive points about the newer trucks, design of the front of the sliver being one (except the damn polygonical wheel cutouts; why can’t they be round?!) but it’s been months since I’ve been in one personally.

I hated those door handles so much. Well the whole interior of the last gen Silverado was a mess, but those door handles we just plain stupid.

It just looks stupid compared to the ‘15.
